Think of eating those much needed leafy greens every day!

Alfalfa is one of my favorite natural remedies for so many different ailments. Allergies, asthma, arthritis, low breastmilk supply, sinus problems, inflammation, runny noses, congestion… the list goes on and on of all of the stories from people who’s symptoms that have been diminished by people using Shaklee’s Alfalfa.

Shaklee’s Alfalfa was first developed by Dr. Shaklee in 1956 and is a high quality alfalfa powder comprised of mature leaves and stems of the alfalfa plant and very different than the alfalfa you can pick up at a health food store, which can contain immature or other parts of the plant.

It is a storehouse of nutrients and it’s roots go as deep as 20 feet, absorbing the nutrients deep within the soil, while it’s leaves gather large amount of chlorophyll through the natural process of photosynthesis. Shaklee’s alfafa is grown organically and the nutrients identified in Shaklee’s Alfalfa are calcium, phosphorus, chlorophyll, trace minerals, bioflavonoids, and vitamins A, C, E and K.

I shared my story here about how Alfalfa helped some of the issues my daughter was experiencing and how I was able to cancel her scheduled surgery after dealing with chronic issues for almost 3 months I have been giving Alfalfa to my son as needed since he was a few months old, to help with congestion and digestion.

My husband used to suffer with asthma for most of his life and always had an inhaler. When he would get a cold or flu, it would often turn into a respiratory infection or bronchitis. Once we switched to healthier cleaners and laundry products after my daughter was born, his asthma symptoms disappeared and on the rare occasion that he feels asthma symptoms starting or a cold starts, he takes Alfalfa to help keep his lungs clear and to calm the inflammation so it doesn’t turn into an infection or linger for a long period of time, it’s really been an incredible product for us!
